Chicago Morning Pier As weather gets colder the one thing I think a lot about are mornings on the beach during the summer. It’s amazing how still the city feels as your watching sunshine on a new day. It’s one of the few times, I feel, in a city of 2.7 million people a you can feel alone outside. When looking out at the water watching the sunrise you can go minutes without hearing the sirens whaling away or having someone brush against you they are running to make a train or a light. without hearing the trash trucks groaning and banging away. All though these are only minutes of peace and quiet, in a city the size of chicago, they feel like a little vacation i this city that I love.
